TravelSheet is a packing list for iPhone and iPad. You create a trip, say who is coming along, and tick a few activities: beach, hiking, skiing, city trip, camping. The app builds the list from that, quantities included. A week for three people gives you 21 T-shirts and one tent instead of a single line saying "clothes". Add entry and customs per country pair, weight per suitcase against your baggage allowance and a PDF to tick off on paper. $2.99 once, no subscription, no ads, no tracking, no account.

What sets the app apart

The list builds itself

Activities instead of an empty list: pick beach and hiking and you get swimwear and hiking boots, in the quantity that follows from the number of travellers and the length of the trip. Duplicates are recognised and kept once.

Entry and customs per country pair

ID card or passport, visa, recommended vaccinations, duty free allowances, plug type and emergency number, depending on home and destination country. The recommended documents move onto the packing list with one tap, instead of being typed out.

Weight, before the scale says so

Every item can carry a weight, and for around 170 standard things the app brings its own estimates. Per piece of luggage the total stands against your own allowance. You find out at home that the case is too heavy, not at the desk.

No account, no server

There is no login and no account with the developer. Data stays on the device and syncs through the user's own iCloud. With version 2.0 a trip can be shared across separate Apple Accounts, technically through CloudKit sharing, which is what other apps build a login for.

What version 2.0 brings

Planned release August 31, 2026

  • One packing list, shared with everyone travelling with you, across separate Apple Accounts. Each person ticks off their own things on their own iPhone.
  • Widgets in all four sizes; on the large one items can be ticked off directly.
  • An Apple Watch app with complications for the watch face.
  • Five more languages, fourteen in total.
  • Entry and customs now know digital arrival cards and electronic travel authorisations such as ESTA, each with the lead time it needs.
  • Free for everyone who already owns the app: no second app to buy, no upgrade price, nothing behind a paywall inside the app.
